WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 19-23
This week, we will be focusing on the following Math and ELA content based upon your child's individual level of readiness. As always, I will provide differentiated instruction as appropriate:
- Math: Comparing Numbers, Place Value to the thousands, subtraction with regrouping, and single-digit multiplication
- ELA: Continue story mapping of self-generated text, Cause and Effect (Action and subsequent Result of that Action), and Personification
- Vocabulary: We will have a vocabulary test each Friday and I encourage you to use these words in conversation with your child to promote comprehension:

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 12-16
This week, we will be focusing on the following Math and ELA content based upon your child's individual level of readiness. As always, I will provide differentiated instruction as appropriate:
- Math: Place Value to the thousands, subtraction with regrouping, and single-digit multiplication
- ELA: Story Mapping (pre-writing) for published text and story mapping and writing of self-generated stories (focus on sequential language, plot, setting, problem, solution and characters)
- Vocabulary: We will have a vocabulary test each Friday and I encourage you to use these words in conversation with your child to promote comprehension:

- were (although this is a sight word, there was a lot of confusion between "were" and "where" during testing)
